21 year-old man’s murder revealed

In the result of investigatory actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee murder of 21 year-old young man was revealed, sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that he had been inflicted bodily injuries dangerous for life by two persons.
 

The body of Harutyun Aghajanyan, born in 1995, with cut-pierced wounds was found on November 20, 2016 at about 22:30 at the car service station located at 88, Yerevanyan, Vanadzor.
 

On November 21, 2016 a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory plan was worked out and necessary investigatory, operative-searching actions were conducted to reveal the crime.
 

On November 21 at 03:40 a 20 year-old resident of Vanadzor surrendered himself into the investigative body and told that at the car service station he had argued with an unknown young man for insulting him, during the argument he stabbed the man on different parts of his body for numerous times and escaped. On the same day the 20 year-old young man was arrested.  
 

Forensic medical, forensic trace, forensic genetic examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case, the victim’s phone number was decoded, numerous witnesses were interrogated.
 

In the result of comprehensive, objective and complete investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that on the day of the incident another resident of Vanadzor – 23 year-old man was also involved in the argument who together with 20 year-old man stabbed Harutyun Aghajanyan on different parts of his body. As a result, the latter died.
 

On March 16 the 23 year-old resident of Vanadzor was arrested.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
