In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee illegal felling of 68 trees of different types in a section of “Lalvar forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO was found. Charge was pressed against the forester and engineer.

In the result of comprehensive investigation conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Lori Regional Investigative Department data were obtained on the allegation that from 2016 to 2017 illegal tree felling had been committed in section 1 of Shamlugh forestry of “Lalvar Area” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO in the result of improper implementation of duties by relevant officials. On the base of the obtained data a criminal case was initiated according to the Part 2 of the Article 315 of RA Criminal Code and was separated a separate proceeding.

In the result of investigation evidence were obtained that in the result of improper implementation of duties, negligence by the forester of section 1 of Shamlugh forestry and the engineer of “Lalvar Forestry” branch from 2016 to 2017 68 trees of different types were illegally cut down inflicting the state damage of 3.243.000 AMD.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the forester and engineer according to the Part 2 of the Article 315 of RA Criminal Code.

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
