In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are ongoing to find out the circumstances of a number of abuses committed in polyclinic N 16. Charge was pressed against 4 people, one more person is a suspect.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that from January 2015 to April 2018 the polyclinic director formulated the district pediatrician as an acting head of children’s department of the same polyclinic and through squandering swindled the salary – 3.200.000 AMD.  

Besides, through comprehensive investigation other criminal manifestations were also found, particularly, demanding bribe for employment.

On July 2 the polyclinic director restored the damage caused by the alleged crime transferring 3.500.000 AMD to the RA deposit account.  

As of July 5, within the mentioned criminal case charge was pressed against 4 people, signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against one more suspect.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing and active investigatory and other procedural actions are ongoing in the RA IC Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department to provide the comprehensive and objective investigation of all counts of the disclosed cases, as well as other possible criminal manifestations.

Through investigation data were obtained on the allegation that other manifestations of bribe also might have been in polyclinic N 16 and we appeal to the citizens to tell the investigative body about the cases known to them. At the same time, we clarify that norms envisaged by criminal legislation exempting from liability, mitigating punishment and liability can be used, as prescribed by law.
