The official opening of the renovated administrative building of Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee was held in Yeghegnadzor town.

Due to renovation the administrative building of the Regional Investigative Department, which is located at 18 Mikoyan, Yeghegnadzor, has a completely new entrance, the repaired offices have been provided with necessary working conditions and computer equipment.

Representing the work implemented by builders the Head of the Department pointed out that considering the peculiarities of minors’ interrogation a separate room for it has been designed in the administrative building. The checkpoint is at the entrance hall where there is a “box for applications, complaints and proposals”, as well as a notification on citizens’ reception days. 

The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan toured the building, got acquainted with the working conditions, discussed with the employees issues on terms of preliminary investigation conducted in the framework of different criminal cases, as well as problems emerging during investigation,  gave them specific instructions to raise the efficiency of preliminary investigation.

By the order of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee the Head of Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department Vardan Avagyan was awarded an administrative medal for conscientious performance of his duties.
