Apparent Case of Taking Bribe at Yerevan School N 192; Criminal Case Initiated

The criminal case initiated on apparent case of taking, giving bribe and squandering with abuse of official position was received in the proceeding of the RA Investigative Committee.

Through preparation of materials it was found out that the headmaster of primary school N 192 after G. Vardanyan, being an official, reaching prior agreement with the resident of Yerevan, born in 1965, in August, 2013 demanded and received 1.500 USD to employ her daughter in the same school as a  form master.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Point 3 of the Part 3 of the Article 311, the Part 2 of the Article 312 and the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code.

In addition, from April, 2013 to May, 2018 the headmaster of primary school N 192, abusing her official position, registered a citizen as a laboratory assistant and psychologist of the school who actually did not go to work and 1.161.679 AMD was withdrawn in the latter's name as a salary. Thus, 1.161.679 AMD entrusted to the headmaster was apparently squandered by her.

Investigation is conducted to find out all circumstances, to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation.
