A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on capturing somebody’s property through assault in the office belonging to ”Goodwin-Bet” LLC and murder of the employee of the same office Artur Nazaryan.

On December 24, 2015 a call was received informing that the employee’s body was found in the office belonging to”Goodwin-Bet” LLC.

The investigatory-operative group headed by the senior investigator of the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district immediately left for the site.

The body of the employee of the mentioned office A. Nazaryan with numerous cut-pierced wounds was found in the site, inspection of the site was conducted, necessary investigatory and procedural actions were taken to find the circumstances of the case.

According to initial data on the night of December 24, 2015 assault was committed with the purpose of capturing money.  The person having committed the apparent crime struck numerous times with a sharp, cutting-piercing object used as a weapon at the parts of Artur Nazaryan’s abdomen, neck and chest, killed him and captured money.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district according to the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and the Point 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code.

Necessary measures are taken to find the person having committed the apparent crime.

A number of circumstances of the criminal case have already been found, including data on the person having committed the apparent crime, however detailed information shall not be published at this stage of investigation out of interests of investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
