In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case investigated in Goris Investigative Division of Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of abuses were disclosed in “Syunik Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO. Charge was pressed against the branch director.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation, the resident of Goris A. Ishkhanyan has been the director of “Syunik Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO since November 1, 2012 performing organizational-administrative functions. During this period cases of apparent squandering, swindling, official forgery were recorded. As a result, property damage of particularly large amount was caused to the state.

On the base of the obtained evidence on July 20, 2018 charge was pressed against A. Ishkhanyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 314 (3 counts), the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 178, the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code.

The investigator submitted a motion to court to choose detention as a pretrial measure against him. The motion was sufficed. At the same time the use of alternative pretrial measure against him was considered permissible and 2 million AMD as a bail amount was set.

Within the criminal case signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against the branch accountant.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
