Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of 29 year-old man's murder in Andranik Street.

On October 9, 2019 at 21:10 a call was received informing that shots were fired in the yard of one of the houses of Andranik Street of South-Eastern district.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene.

On the same day at 22:15 a call was received from «Erebuni» medical center, as well informing that a man's body with firearm injuries was taken to them from South-Eastern district of Yerevan.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. A decision was made by the Head of the Investigative Committee to form an investigatory group.

During preliminary investigation a number of urgent investigatory actions were conducted – interrogations, inspection of the scene during which 4 capsules and a ball, blood-like traces were found, samples were taken.

In the result of necessary measures taken within the criminal case the victim was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1990.

Forensic medical examination of the body, forensic ballistic, forensic biological, forensic trace examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Urgent investigatory actions are conducted, operative-intelligence measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case, to identify the person having committed the alleged crime and to bring him to the investigative body. Instructions were given to relevant subdivisions of the Police.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
