Female employees of Investigative Committee took part in annual convention on “Women in Police” held in Tbilisi

Woman employees of the RA Investigative Committee took part in the fifth annual convention on “Women in Police” held in Tbilisi by Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs in Armenia and Georgia.
 

Issues on violence against children, investigation of trafficking, peculiarities of inspection of the site, latest developments in the sphere of illegal turnover of narcotics, practical skills of investigation related to kidnapping and hostage-taking were discussed during the convention. Self-defense and defensive tactics was also studied by female law enforcers.
 

During convention the members of the delegation actively took part in discussions and submitted proposals to project organizers on further topics to be discussed within the project.  
 

The delegation of the RA Investigative Committee which took part in the convention consisted of 7 female employees, including investigator of particularly important cases of General Department of Supervision over Activity of Territorial Investigative Departments of the RA Investigative Committee Asya Ghaltaghchyan, senior investigator of Organizational and Analytical Division Seda Poghosyan, senior investigator of particularly important cases of Lori Regional Investigative Department Lusine Vardanyan, investigator of Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts Anna Khachatryan, investigator of Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts Marianna Guroghlyan, senior investigator of Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district Liana Markosyan and investigator of the same division Sofi Torosyan.
