Minor’s murder in Sari-Tagh, 5 more persons sustained bodily injuries
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder of a minor.
On March 13 at about 21:30 a call was received informing that some people were quarrelling in Sari-Tagh and one person was lying in blood. The investigatory-operative group headed by the Head of Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts Eduard Sirakanyan immediately left for the site.
According to initial data, on March 13 at about 21:00 an argument took place in front of the school N 47 in Sari-Tagh and minors were involved in it. The argument turned into brawl during which 16 year-old resident of Sari-Tagh (he would turn 17 in November) sustained cut-pierced penetrating wound incompatible with life on the frontal surface of his chest. In the result of the bodily injury the latter was taken to “Erebuni” medical center with diagnosis “biological death” where the minor’s death was confirmed.
5 more persons were taken to medical center with different bodily injuries. All the injured are residents of Sari-Tagh.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts according to 3 articles of RA Criminal Code – the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder), the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt against two or more persons), the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 (infliction of medium-gravity damage to 2 or more persons).
Inspection of the site was conducted, a hat, a shoe, bloodlike traces were found and confiscated. The clothes the injured were wearing at the moment of the case were also confiscated. Forensic medical, forensic medical and forensic biological examinations were commissioned.
An investigatory plan has been worked out, working hypotheses have been put forward, investigatory, operative-searching measures are taken to verify them, to find the motive of the argument, the frame of participants and the role of each of them.
