Necessary investigatory and procedural actions are conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of murder attempt committed against 32 year-old resident of Vanadzor.

Pursuant to initial data, with the intend to illegally deprive from life the person having committed the alleged crime fired a shot towards the resident of Vanadzor, born in 1987, on the abdomen with a firearm procured and kept illegally causing him a firearm injury. However, under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime.

A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which was tasked to the investigatory group.

During preliminary investigation a number of investigatory and procedural actions were conducted – 32 year-old man was found the injured party, the clothes he was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated, inspection of the scene was conducted during which 7 fired capsules were found and confiscated, forensic medical examination was commissioned, instructions were given to the relevant subdivision of the Police. The injured could not take part in investigatory actions for health reasons.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of the case, to identify the person having committed the alleged crime.
