In the result of the measures taken in the framework of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department murder committed on 1 December has been revealed.
 

On 1 December, 2014, at about 13:30 the body of Yerevan resident G. Poghosyan was found at 6 Davit Anhaght Str., Yerevan.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district on willful deprivation of one’s life according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was found that G. Poghosyan had an alcoholic drink with the citizen Yavrumyan in the mentioned flat, then a row erupted between them during which the latter stabbed at G. Poghosyan’s chest with a kitchen knife. G. Poghosyan died of the stab wound.
 

Yavrumyan was arrested on suspicion of murder. Complex forensic examinations have been appointed.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
