Necessary investigative and other procedural actions are conducted in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to disclose 34 year-old man’s murder in Gyumri.

Pursuant to initial data, on February 27, 2022 at 01:15 a call was received from Gyumri medical center informing that the resident of Gyumri, born in 1987, with a diagnosis of “cut-pierced wounds, biological death” was taken to the medical center from Atarbekyan Street of Gyumri.

In the result of urgent measures the scene of the crime was found out and through inspection of the scene blood-like traces, a cap, a cigarette roll were found, through inspection of the body cut-pierced wounds were found on the left frontal part of the head, lumber part of the back, upper part of the right seat and frontal part of the right thigh.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.

Forensic medical examination was commissioned to find out a number of circumstances significant for the case. The clothes the victim was wearing at the moment of the accident were confiscated, samples were taken, the video captured by the camera located at the scene was confiscated and examined.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
