Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on 29 year-old young man’s murder in Andranik Street is ongoing in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. The person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

It was earlier informed that on October 9, 2019 at 21:10 a call was received informing that shots were fired in the yard of one of the houses of Andranik Street of South-Eastern district. On the same day at 22:15 a call was received from «Erebuni» medical center, as well informing that a man's body with firearm injuries was taken to them from South-Eastern district of Yerevan.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case the victim was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1990.

An investigatory plan was worked out, working hypotheses were put forward and in the result of investigatory actions of great volume actual data were obtained on the identity of the person having committed the alleged crime; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1996.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Urgent investigatory actions are conducted, operative-intelligence measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case, to find the person having committed the alleged crime and to bring him to the investigative body. Instructions were given to relevant subdivisions of the Police.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
