In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed for murder attempt committed against a resident of Ejmiatsin two years ago.
 

On June 18, 2014 at about 18:40 in Matrosov Street of Ejmiatsin the person having committed the apparent crime fired shots from a firearm towards the car “BMW X5” driven by the resident of Ejmiatsin A. Grigoryan with intend to illegally deprive the him from life. However he could not complete the crime under unforeseen circumstances and escaped.
 

On June 18, 2014 a criminal case was initiated in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Police according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code the investigation of which was later conducted in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
 

In the result of investigatory actions a number of circumstances of the case were found, the person having committed the apparent crime was identified and in September, 2014 search was declared against him - charged with the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
 

On December 22, 2016 the person under persecution turned himself to Vagharshapat Investigative Division. Charge was pressed against him according to the Parts 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, necessary measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
