On October 9 at 18:00 the police station of Shengavit administrative district received a call from “Yerevan” medical center informing that 34 year-old Tovmasyan with cut injury on frontal surface of the neck, respiratory damage and emphysema of the right part of the neck was taken to the medical center.
 

While preparing materials on the base of the report it was found that on October 9, 2014 from 16:00 to 16:30 on the sidewalk in front of the house 24, Checkov Street, Yerevan the person having committed the apparent crime argued with Tovmasyan for shutting the taxi door violently. During the row he hit at the latter’s neck with a cutting-piercing tool willfully inflicting him heavy bodily damage dangerous for life.
 

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Forensic medical and forensic traceological examinations were appointed.
 

Measures are taken to find all the circumstances of the case, as well as to identify the person having committed the apparent crime.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
