Within the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee on apparent arrogation, illegal deprivation of freedom, causing strong physical pain and strong mental suffering to the head of the executive body of «Harsnaqar» restaurant-hotel complex 6 persons were involved as a defendant, search was declared against them and motions were submitted to the Court of First Instance of Yerevan to choose detention as a pretrial measure against them. Motions on Ruben Hayrapetyan and 4 defendants were sufficed, the motion on his son was rejected.

A few hours after considering detention as a pretrial measure, Rafik Hayrapetyan turned himself to Arabkir Police Division then to the Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against him and signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure.

It was earlier informed that in the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume as well as operative-intelligence measures taken by the officers of General Department of Criminal Police of the RA Police a number of circumstances of arrogation, illegal deprivation of freedom,  causing strong physical pain and strong mental suffering to the head of the executive body of «Harsnaqar» restaurant-hotel complex which belongs to Ruben Hayrapetyan's family,  committed by Ruben Hayrapetyan, his son and the latter's friends were found out.

Investigatory and procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.
