Serviceman Arrested on Suspicion of Committing Murder
On March 18, 2020 at about 20:30 on the first km of the road from Artsvaberd to Choratan village of Berd community of Tavush province during the argument the serviceman of the unit N of the RA Ministry of Defense, for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life stabbed the resident of Aygedzor village with a cutting-piercing item which caused the latter's death. He also stabbed two more residents of the same village with the same item causing bodily injuries to them.
A criminal case was initiated in the Sixth Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
The serviceman was arrested.
Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
