Investigation is conducted in Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find circumstances of stabbing committed in one of the night clubs in Abovyan town.
 

On February 20, 2017 at 05:30 a call was received from “Abovyan Medical Center after R. Harutyunyan” informing that on the same day citizens K. Hovhannisyan with cut-pierced penetrating wound on the lateral part of the abdomen, A. Sargsyan with cut-pierced wound on the right part of the chest and V. Abgaryan with cut wound on the left arm, cut-pierced wound on the abdomen were taken to medical center. On the same day another call was received from “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” medical center informing that A. Parsamyan with cut-pierced wounds on the face, chest and abdomen was taken to medical center.
 

In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case it was found that the mentioned 4 persons sustained bodily injuries during the argument that took place in one of the night clubs in Abovyan town.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Abovyan Investigative Division of Kotayq Regional Investigative Department according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code and necessary investigatory actions were immediately conducted to find all circumstances of the case, to identify those having committed the apparent crime.
 

Inspection of the site was conducted, forensic medical examination was commissioned.
 

Through preliminary investigation the motive of the argument was found, data were obtained on identification of those involved. Instruction was given to the relevant subdivisions of the police to take measures to find the persons having committed the apparent crime and bring them to the investigative body.  
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
