Hooliganism Committed with Weapon in Public Catering Facility (photos)
Necessary investigative and other procedural actions are conducted in Kotayk Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to disclose the case of hooliganism committed with a weapon in a public catering facility.
Pursuant to initial data, on March 15, 2022 at about 18:00 in the public catering facility located at the 39th km of Yerevan-Sevan road the person having committed the alleged crime, ignoring the rules of behavior and human coexistence in a public place, willfully violating the public order roughly and showing obvious disrespect to public, fired towards 36 year-old resident of Kaghsi from a firearm kept by him causing bodily injuries.
A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code. The mentioned 36 year-old man was found the injured party.
Through inspection of the scene conducted during preliminary investigation one not fired bullet and one fired capsule of a hunting gun, as well as blood-like traces was found, samples were taken, the clothes the injured was wearing at the moment of the accident and the videos captured by the security cameras located at the facility were confiscated, a number of people were questioned. Forensic medical, as well as forensic ballistic and forensic trace complex examinations were commissioned.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to identify the person having committed the alleged crime, to find and bring him to the investigative body, to find the gun which was the instrument of crime, to verify the circumstances mentioned in the testimonies.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
