On February 3, 2016 Head of the Department of Support to Investigation of Criminal Cases of the RA Investigative Committee Grigor Sargsyan and senior investigator of particularly important cases of the same department Davit Tumasyan received the experts Michael Notton and Michael O’Brien who had arrived from Great Britain accompanied by the Head of “Armenian Innocence Project” NGO Zaruhi Mejlumyan.

The experts presented Great Britain’s experience on revision of cases and  preservation of evidence, discussed some  basic cases quoting their peculiarities, got acquainted with the issues of evidence preservation and their further management in the Republic of Armenia, discussed perspectives of introduction of the best international experience in the context of fair trial.

The meeting was held in warm atmosphere at the end of which arrangement was made on the areas of further cooperation.
